GPT-5.2 Update
CloseBot has updated the final reply for all who are using OpenAI as a provider to use GPT-5.2. Any time a new model is released, it undergoes rigorous testing from our team before it reaches production. This model received the same testing from our team and we found it to be a beneficial update. Nothing is needed from you. It's up to us at CloseBot to optmize for quality on your behalf.
New Developer Documentaiton
Cleaner developer documentation can now be found at developers.closebot.com. Endpoints now have descriptions and a way for you to test each endpoint within the page using your API key.
Improved Appointment Handling Custom Intervals
Updates were made to our backend logic and prompting to improve the performance of conversational booking on calendars that are using non-standard intervals (like appointments that start every 25 minutes).
Switch Action UI Cleanup
The switch action had a few issues that were fixed. When you add cases to the switch, the lines you drag now work flawlessly. Previously, you had to do a screen refresh to get them to work as expected. In addition, navigation related to the switch action has been improved.
Job Flow Loading Errors
Sometimes loading a job flow, the flow would show up as completely blank while the flow was still loading. Nothing is lost when this happens, but still scary for our users. It has been fixed.
What's Next?
This week was focused on catching up from the holidays, getting bugs crushed that people brought up while we were away and setting the stage for Q1 sprints. Next week we will be focusing on making the Conversations page live update with new messages (no screen reloading needed), GDPR and more front end revisions to make the platform even easier to use. We will also work on implementing the long-awaited proactive Smart FAQ. This will allow your AI to reach out with answers to questions people had that it couldn't answer if you fill in the answer within your Smart FAQ area.
